Project Details
Since one year and a half, the members of the associations research all the information’s they can find about the forestry technique created by Akira Miyawaki. With all the information they have decide to create the Aran project to improve the quality of forestry system life in Pondicherry by replant forest in the city following the Akira Miyawaki technique. The project is decline in two parts, one specifically in school and the other aspect empty land in the city.
“Aran” means “protect everything”. This is the name of an Indian prince who protects the forest. This name makes sense to this project because the agroforestry is a technique who protects a lot of different things. By creating a primarily forest, the biodiversity, agro forestry and social forestry also increases it as the quality of air and so the quality of life of humans. It protects the soils by retain water and stabilise the ground.
Project Mission
By Aran-Forestry, We increases the quality of air by Forest which the trees absorb odors and pollutant gases (nitrogen oxides, ammonia, sulfur dioxide and ozone) and filter particulates out of the air by trapping them on their leaves and bark.
Project Vission
Aran Vission is to make the environment with clear and fresh air to feed the environment and make it as a survial place for human using Forestry to increases the quality of air through forestry.
